Description: The objective of the study was to define a productive sector within the spectrum of smaller companies, to develop an online training course that would contribute to their professionalization and growth.
The research had three stages: the definition of a criteria to select the most suitable economic sector for the development of an e – learning course, the election of a productive sector according to the results of the application of the criteria, and descriptive research aimed to produce a profile of the motivations and productive gaps of micro entrepreneurs in the selected productive sector.
