Description: CEAT is an Educational High Technology Center that integrates technical, professional, and scientific training for young students, training for workers in different areas of development and improvement, as well as technical assistance for teachers.
CEAT was the first High Technology Educational Center in our country. The initiative has been endorsed since 1988 by the Los Andes Foundation with the purpose of promoting first level professional technical education.
ORT Chile was in charge of the whole implementation process, from the creation of the general idea, the supervision of the educational technical construction, the definition of the equipment, its importation and implementation, teacher training, and also the organizational and technical advice given during the first five years of operation.
